What's up, beautiful people! Welcome back as promised. I want to show you how to create a digital product mockup, whether you have physical products, you're a course creator, marketing digital products, or even services. Mockups are an excellent way to get creative with your marketing needs!

Catch people's eyes, new people, and expand your network, your following, or your audience far and wide through visual content!

Okay. I said it before, I'll repeat it, CANVA is the place to be, to do all of that.

 Today, I will show you how to create a product mockup to place within your emails on your social media, anywhere you want. Especially on the marketing materials that you print. Enjoy! 

Okay. Let's start from scratch. I'm going to show you guys how easy this can be. Go ahead and create a design. Let's do something for Instagram. Since everybody's up on Instagram, kind of, sort of, maybe they're usually on reels now, but you know, same feel. 

***You can always add some animations; throw it on your stories. Add a few extra pages + some timing to it. Now we're going to start to get creative. Yeeee! And of course, I'm going to be showing you all of those things.***

I want to break it down step by step.

Okay. So today, in this product mockup tutorial...

Let's see you come in here. And first things, first frames > Let's go with elements, Frames. 

See what we're working with here. Perfect. Let's start to build it out. So this will be the computer screen. Let's add the option to put a cellular device because about 80 to 90% of people are viewing your goodies from their mobile device.

So, whereas before, we used to optimize for the website first, today, you always want to be optimized for your mobile view first. So definitely draw attention to let your customers know that there are mobile options. You know, just bring their eyes to all the places where they can find your goodies. Okay?

You can even add this little paper stack. So like, say this is your guide or whatever you are delivering. What else do we want to add in there?

They have tablets too. So we'll do the little tablet. That's a computer. Oh, that's a primary computer. We didn't do a laptop; let's do a laptop instead. Boom! All options.

Design your product mockup

Make it a little small; look at how easy this is. I'm just clicking the circles. Okay. And do you see these little cloud-looking backdrops?

That is that 'snap and drop' feature that easily lets you drop in any of your graphics. I'm going to show you a fast way. You can do this. Okay... So say you have something you just created and Canva and need to take a quick screenshot.

On PC Touch your window button + press the print screen. On Mac Shift + Ctrl +Cmd + 4 And that will give you a print screen of your screen. Boom! 🙌🏽

Then you can go ahead and upload it right in Canva. And you can do that for anything! Say it was something off of your website that you needed. Anything that you can take a print screen of or any photo that you want to upload in there.

I'm going to go back to our little section here and start to snap in our photos. So I'm just going to click> drag >drop.

Rearrange 

And then, to rearrange, you double click on it; it will highlight it and let you shift it around. Whatever's in that window, that narrow view stays.

Say your store was the backdrop of this social media graphic, and you wanted to have this pic in the back faintly...Transparency would be the tool! This is where you can start to play with some transparency and get really creative.

But if it's just this digital graphic image, we don't even need that because we're about to download this with the transparent background. Which will give you all a pic you can insert anywhere you want.
